One other thing about my algo - Normally it generates the same number of buy and sell signals. Which is to say you are expected to hold a long position until there is a sell signal or a short until there is a buy signal. It is not programmed to double down on dips and rips.

BUT, because it considers numerous parameters, on occasions it does generate an uneven number of buy/sell signals that amount to doubling down on a previous signal. In this case, DDOG had a lot more sell signals than buy signals, hinting that smart money was pulling out of the stock.

Anyways, good luck with you trades. I'm mostly off the market and SI these days.

I do see a potential weakness forming in the market. There's a 24hr window that if you are a bear, you can position and sell in anticipation of broader weakness. But if it still looks good by Friday, the bears should close their short positions.

Currently I have no short positions, but I am well above normal amount of cash.
