Hertz continues to feel EV losses, plans to dump more from its fleet (teslarati.com)

.They pay these CEOs mega bucks to run a profitable business. Some of them apparently didn't learn in Business 101 the need to know and understand your customers. That Bud Light marketing bimbo was another example..

People landing at an airport want to rent a vehicle that they can just jump in and drive without having to learn how to operate (and fuel) an unfamiliar EV. Loading up on these Teslas was a really dumb move for Hertz. So far they're planning to sell (at a large loss) 30,000 of them. I'll bet they end up dumping a substantially higher number than that..

And some of these auto execs will end up in the same boat, listening to politicians and hype rather than what their prospective customers want..
