Sandie, I hope someone will expound upon the 6 year duration of 2000 problems in embedded systems. It seems to me that when the dreaded date comes around, it will be fairly obvious which systems are compliant and which are not. And once you know what systems are a problem, the fix seems to be obtaining compliant chips and/or controller boards, reprograming the PLC's, or completely replacing the process control. What am I missing here?? Regards, Ron
