Why not reinvest the dividends in them, more shares = more dividends. As long as they keep raising dividends and paying specials they should be all right, keep watching the specials, when they cut by 50 per cent, it could be time to adjust.

RE: HTGC and CSWC has really run up in price so while I could sell them and capture the capital gains (in a ROTH), I would want to replace the income. Not sure how to do that at the moment.

You could look to purchase bonds of BDCs. I currently own a few. MAIN (Cusip# 56035LAH7) , Prospect Capital and Hercules Capital. They are at the top of the capital stack and pay decent returns if held to maturity.
