My wife is very conservative with her savings/retirement. She gets worried when she needn't be. I'm still building our emergency cash account, it's close to 2 years expenses, it's invested in MM, short term Treasury and CDs. Our brokerage and retirement accounts she frets about.

Until she sits down for a few days with Chowder, or previously Ron, then she's ready to invest in whatever they talked about. I don't think it's me she's worried about, but maybe she is.

Yeah, I think your discussing with him why you've invested in your holdings, why you're doing the moves you're doing, etc., will be really helpful. It will give him greater insight and let him start to see how the things you're doing are all pieces of a broader strategy. And also, that your strategy has things in place for dealing with a difficult market, whenever it might arrive.
