Sounds like you had a great trip. On the UTEs: I have NEE, SO, AEP, SRE, WEC as well as UTF and UTG and HTD (Has heavy UTE exposure). I consider the CEFs are part of my UTE position. In total they represent an outsize portion of my portfolio. UTG is still down some on cost but it is coming back. I hear what you are saying about consolidation. Let me give it some thought.

Just as long as SO does not have any "new" problems with the Nukes. If they do, they will tank like a ballistic warhead. I still like having my Utilities spread out so if Fires or some other disaster that people will blame them for happens, its only one of a bunch of holdings.

I am heavy in Utilities. I have SO NEE DUK ES EVRG AQN (Spec play, hoping for comeback). SO and DUK are over weight. NEE ES EVRG all at 3/4 position. AQN at 1/2 position. You are right..they have been under performers compared to Mrkt but doing their job in the portfolio. They have, as late, been doing fairly well.
