Robert:
I'm holding for the long pull. I bought WMT about two years ago
at 23 and watched it sit there for a long time. I am truly enjoying this right now.
I will tell you that as one who is involved somewhat directly with the retail industry, it is my opinion that Wal Mart is the best (or one of the best) retailers today. Nordstrom is good but in its category, Wal Mart is hard to beat. They will rise and decline with the retail industry but you have to ask yourself where you would invest the proceeds if you were to sell your stock in WMT.
I'm no expert but very much like the stores, the management and the employees of Walmart.
Good luck to you whatever you decide.

Chip

Robert,

I got burnt a bit, when shorting Sears just before the earnings. It dipped to my target, $41, but only for 15 min, when I was off the screen.
Then I checked Retailers a bit. It seems they are a favourable industry group right now, which suites well to the late phase of the business cycle we are in.
For WMT I projected some more 3 weeks of rising prices. I could imagine $50-51 as a target.
