Ann, OTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOT OTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOT OTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOTOT

Ann, precious Ann. I'm just going to have to sit you down and explain some things. Are you sitting down? OK. You know the article you URLd today, the one that contained the following couple of paragraphs among a few more, and you implied it may help INTC?:

Through the agreement, the partners will deliver integrated backup and media management
capabilities for Windows NT users and bring the automated data protection functionality
traditionally available only in large, UNIX-based data centers to Windows NT environments.
The initiative will simplify administration of distributed storage in Windows NT enterprise
networks, while lowering storage management costs.

Under the terms of the agreement, ADIC will offer a network storage solution that will combine
a new, single-server version of VERITAS' NetBackup with ADIC's new FastStor DLT storage
system. The partnership will break new ground in Windows NT data protection by providing
close integration between VERITAS storage management software and a range of ADIC
automated tape libraries. This integration will make built-in failover -- the capability for one
backup device to take over automatically when another fails -- widely and economically
available for Windows NT networks.

Now, do you know how many people on SI, besides you and me ;-], much less the typical Wall Street investor, know anything about this stuff? The article didn't even say Intel, or Microsoft. I do agree they among others are the ones that will benefit. However, unless Andy Grove himself says Intel is going to have 90% of the world's money in the Intel vault by 1999, or Kurlak says BUY, not much in the news affects stock price. Nice upgrade by Prudential today, though.

Still, stay young, vivacious, and (what's the right word) ah, hopeful.

Tony

Ann, my apologies for my post #17637 . In your recent post to Sonny, I thought by "our stock" you were referring to Intel. Then, I remembered you and Sonny had a common one you didn't mention after a while. And there I treated you like a college freshman.

What a boob.

Still friends?

Tony

p.s. what's the stock and do you really think that arcane article would mean much to anybody? There I go trying to weasel out of it again. ;-]

Good Evening Ann,

Itg was great seeing the Nasdaq hold up for the first couple of hours this morning as this was a forecast for a good finish. The earnings on Dell after the bell should be good for all techs tomorrow including Intel.

Hope that you are well and

Best Wishes
Frank

Ann. Thanks for that link on our stock. With that you would have thought that our stock would move more than it did yesterday and it was down today. I guess everyone is waiting for the earnings on Feb.24th. I have never even checked if they are involved in Asia. Do you know?

Tony wrote me a post and told me his foot in the mouth story with you about our stock. gg.

I think we will have a cpl. real good weeks if nothing drastic in the world happens.

And yes, Intel is on the move and could go back to its old high and maybe past it.

Sonny
