All my life I have followed science and reason to the best of my ability.

What I post is mostly what and how I understand the science AND reason, as it has evolved throughout 15,000 years of civilization evolution.

The ancient Greeks made the very first big breakthrough into "abstract reasoning" and were sort of the only one's contemporary to us until present times.

Plato was one of the first existentialists, IMO :" Allegory of the Cave"

I have studied and followed that evolution in thought in even the micro sense of human evolution "knowledge" the last 60 years. Big breakthrough was DNA testing.

Humane civilization for the planet has to be our top priority and that is the context for all my thinking.

PS: "The dominate quality of the Greek Mind, was its persistent effort to subject myth to reason, because whereas myths may change, reason remains the same everywhere and for all time, and makes brothers of its lovers."

Will Durant:" The History of Civilization, Introduction to his chapter on the ancient Greeks."

He felt they were contemporary to us and is where we got most of our ideas of democracy and ethics.
