Mr Gary Zak reports
The company has received results from the phase 2 diamond drill program on
the company's 50/50 joint venture Alto/Noront Windfall Lake gold and base metal
project in Urban Township, Quebec. The latest diamond drill program continues to
confirm the company's belief that the Windfall Lake property, due to the
significant areal extent of mineralization discovered to date, has the potential
to host a large open pit resource in gold and base metal mineralization. The
recent followup drilling has now extended the mineralization along a strike
length of approximately 250ms and across a 600m mineralized zone and continues to
remain open on strike in either direction and at depth, with the better grades to
date appearing to have been obtained from the most easterly drill holes over an
IP target approximately 2km in length and open. Several zones can now be
correlated within the mineralized zone and it is noted that sulphide
mineralization is virtually present over the entire length of each hole with most
holes having stopped in mineralization and all carrying anomalous to significant
gold values. The gold is associated with pyrite mineralization in extensively
altered felsic volcanics. This gold mineralization is further associated with a
rhyolite vent or dome in the vicinity of the recent drilling. The joint venture's
geologists and consultants are currently carrying out a detailed study of the
data to establish a model in order to facilitate future drilling in an effort to
extend this large newly discovered gold system. A summary of the latest four
diamond drill holes are as follows: Hole No. 4 was drilled to a depth of 300ms to
undercut hole 97-2 and to test a separate weak IP anomaly. Two zones of strongly
anomalous gold mineralization were intersected.

Interval Length Au
(m) (m) (g/t)

48.08- 48.74 0.66 1.54
63.20- 67.00 3.80 1.26

Hole No. 5 was drilled southeast of 97-3 to a depth of 201m and was intended
to test a gold section intersected in hole 97-3 at depth. Hole No. 5 intersected
several heavy sulphide zones. The most significant intersection returned was 485
g/t gold and 45 g/t silver over 0.68m. This section can be correlated with an
assay of 19.2 g/t gold over 0.52m in hole 97-3. Check assays for the high grade
intersection returned 495,500 and 279 g/t gold.

146.94-151.64 4.70 0.18
151.64-152.32 0.68 485.20

Hole No. 6 was drilled to a depth of 231m to test the Trench zone which
assayed 9 g/t gold over 3m. A zone of sulphide mineralization, highly anomalous
in gold was intersected. The lower portions of this zone may be correlated to the
higher grade zones in holes 97-3 and 98-5.

Interval Length Au
(m) (m) (g/t)

6.43- 6.89 .46 2.3
94.40- 94.78 .38 3.1
104.16-104.46 .30 2.0
153.84-154.8 .96 8.5
156.69-157.45 .76 7.0

Hole No. 7 collared on the adjacent 75 claim Alcane property, a 50/50 joint
venture with Aurcana Corp was drilled to test a soil zinc anomaly. The hole
returned some narrow anomalous gold zones within felsic tuffs. A silicified
felsic volcanic with 2% zinc and 10 g/t silver from 135.1 to 135.74m was also
intersected. Hole No. 8 was drilled to a depth of 327m to test a northeast
extension of the Trench zone and failed to encounter the zone. However, one
section of gold mineralization averaged 29.1 g/t gold over 0.82m at a depth of
184.84 to 185.66m. This zone may correlate with 18.0 g/t gold over 0.64m in hole
97-3. The company is highly encouraged by the most recent results. To date, the
results have indicated a strong correlation between gold and sulphide
mineralization over an extremely large portion of the property. Additional
geophysical methods are planned to better define the newly discovered zones and
additional multiple targets. Further work on the property is planned to resume
shortly.
