Thank you very much. Wow! Are they starting out low to test the wind! Chicago is surprising to me. Thought it would be one of the best geographic areas to set up LMDS. Don't think that will last. Also remember the system has a glich in it and this may not reflect the real situation.

The number of bids on major markets is interesting at this point. Can you post the secondary markets, or give us an idea of the status on them? Maybe the consultant was right. Maybe it would be easier to build out in those cities.

Jim, all the numbers you posted represent the minimum opening bid on each market (ie $2.25 times pop). Where there's multiple bidders, must be everyone bid the minimum but WNP shows up as bidder (maybe because they're the lowest number?). With the problems today there was probably no chance to overbid, so way too early to start drawing any conclusions.
