Incredible. 'nough said?

Skeeter: pfssssss! (the sound of Raid Outdoor Fogger) Hey, what do you care if some of us are long? Besides, I said I saw this as a turnaround quarter so I'm not concerned that eps was up "only" 5.4%. That's history now. I see a company with mid 20s sales growth, earnings back on track, that beat estimates by 31%, trading at a 20 forward PE with eps expected to grow by 35% in '99, selling for one times sales in an industry trading at twice that on average, that just might become a target for someone wanting an instant $6 billion boost in market share. If all you can think of as reasons for disliking GTW is last year's charge offs and "management sucks" then I'd suggest you don't buy GTW. But let us know if you ever change your mind. That'll be time to sell.

>>No one going to say anything about DELL's great earnings? <<

poor gateway ;-) you knew it was coming. anyway, why is dell's eps growing many times faster than gtw's eps on an annual basis?
