The end of day buying is SMALL BLOCKS; NOTHING MORE THAN A FEW THOUSAND SHARES. BIG BOYS ARE NOT BUYING. Individual investor is buying because he thinks its a deal to buy at 12% below the high. Buy on the dips on this one wlll be punished.

>>Also William's observation about AOL being restricted to AOL members is a bit specious. AOL realizes the reach of the web and is attempting to refashion itself as a general web provider...

Specious? Moi? :)

How does a non-member see advertising sold buy AOL? I went to aol.com, and the only thing I found available is Netfinder search and AOL Channels that are links to non-AOL websites.

What am I missing? Banner ads on Instant Messenger?

BigB, the only trade over 2500 shares after about 2:10 was 10,000 at 3:41 and that was on a downtick at 62 7/8. I don't think the slight recovery of the last 15-20 minutes means much with the Dow going from basically even to up 52 or Nasdaq from +6 to +12 in the same time period. At least not anything specific to YHOO. The general market has gone nuts and will be brought back to reality in a harsh and scary way.
