> A hung jury is, by definition, a decision of not guilty

NOPE. If a jury is hung:

1) The judge can keep the jury working on the case until they arrive at a verdict. Usually if they do that its temporary but he can insist they keep trying.

If a jury hangs, the defendant can be retried.

2) A not guilty requires unanimity in a criminal trial. It doesn't mean innocent. As in OJ's case it means the prosecution did not prove guilt beyond the shadow of a doubt. It also means the defendant cannot be retried.

Did you flunk high school Civics?

What this means is if there's a MAGA on the jury who hangs it, Trump might have to go through it again.
