Rosemary,
Hi!!! Nicely put....I keep telling my dad that Dell is different....hard for him to not see everything in the perspective of fairly valued....no matter how hard I try to convince him of the Dellish signs or exactly what you referred to....he sticks to that fairly valued stuff...I respect him because he is my dad...but, also because he still owns a ton of Dell....I just keep trying to get him to buy more!
Best, Kemble

Hi Rose,

After being long on Dell for more than a year (like you) the only
thing I can say that this earnings-report is the best from what I've
seen so far.
Inspite of all the doom & gloom in the last few months ($1000-PC,
competitors copying Dell's business-model, the Asian flu, the silly
pep-talk from Apple a few months ago, and so on) I also couldn't
find not one negative word in the report.

The only "negative" point I can make is that there P/E drops from
48 to 43 including the .81-number. So there is less room for
a rise in stock-price than most people believe. Let's say Dell's
P/E will rise to 50 in the next 3 months this means a price-target
of $130. On the other hand, after reading the earnings-report it is
my opinion that Dell isn't overvalued at a PE above 50 (this will
probably lead to responses from bears yelling about stupid Dell-heads
who are blind, and the other usual nonsense).

Anyhow, have a nice day, and give my warm regards to your
"dream-team".

Paul
