John,
What you might miss is that because we had local coverage we saw a lot of the disturbences during the commercials...but you are correct that several people want Sadam out and not his people.I think many fear a lack of conviction to settle this once and for all...but these are tricky times and a one time settlement is not so simple. We missed the last opportunity. This is more than a game of liars' poker. If you had asked me the best route it would have been easy in my teens or twenties!!!And I thought I would get smarter in my old age!NOT!!!No easy answers...just more concerns. We had a man here last year order several viles of bubonic plague and he recieved it...to do research..but he could have wiped out thousands in a week!!That was not a terrorist...just a guy trying to prove a point over the internet!!!Now THAT is scary!I am not trying to overstate...just some observations.
Will any of this affect the markets????Not yet!
Regards,
Barbara

Curious, John. No big buyer wants microcaps. Nobody wants Canadian stocks, or Mexican stocks, or Chilean stocks, even though the businesses are healthy and the price is right. They'll only buy the Dow and the S&P and tech stocks. Are you bearish on Canadian stocks?
I might think the result of a conflict is increased trade within north/south america. I was noticing EKT go down today as Dell went up, this doesn't make any sense to me except that Dell is perfectly positioned to take maximum advantage of index-fund buying. Is there a chain like CompUSA or EKT in Canada? Might be time...
