zoom dioes it all the time. You go to sign into a meeting and do it like 1 minute before the meeting starts and zoom demands that you update the app in order to start your meeting, so you wait 5-10 minutes while Zoom does it's thing.

some idiot programmer never heard of backend updates when you're done the the call and have no time limits.

sonos demands that you update the app before use. And why can't they do the upgrade over wifi instead of demanding that I connect the product to a ethernet hard line? Probably so they could save $2 on dram so they would hold two full images on teh device and then boot over to the new one.
