As Europe frees up competition in telecom industry, Nortel should benefit from the increasing expenditure from new companies and existing strong ones. If you can recall, Europe was a huge area of growth for Nortel as reported in previous quarterly report and they expect it to continue as such.

Yes Winston. the TSE traditionally moves up during the RRSP season. Besides, TSE has to play catch up to the DOW. I added some NT last week, and will continue to accumulate gradually. I first got in NT in 1993, have held it since then. It is a good long term investment. I also started buying NN, it's been beaten down badly, should move up from here.
