My two cents...

I made a sales call to the Norcross location last week. As an engineer
with 8 years for cisco router and WAN communication experience- I was very impressed with the facility. The engineers are top notch -they are aggressively moving towards cutting operation cost and will be successful. With 1.5 million subscribers and 40k additions/month from a bank in the Midwest alone- this company is positioned to make an impact on a market that is estimated 1% tapped. When I saw the stock take a hit- I loaded up.

Good Luck!

You know I've been doing this all backwards.....looking into the bill consolidation effort by Intuit.

And I think you know by now.....I'm a stone-truner-overer.

Here's the Wild Card...of all the Billers in there they are not all Checkfrees'.

For instance all the ones that MSFDC has anounced are in there(pilots)...along with all CheckFrees' active & pilots...and those that I've dug up elsewhere, Pintel, Pinteck or whatever. The Phone company we discussed and figured was going it alone last week. And then there are nearly 100 more we ain't heard squat about, but we'd all know by name.

But because they are 'ALL' in there....it brings me back to this is consumers choice.

I've come to the conclusion...don't matter who generates the Bill and gets paid to do it, that's a free-for-all CheckFree told us they were winning by 3 to 1 over all the other competitors combined. So I feel we are doing good.

From what I see there a 2 ends to the transaction for revenues

A) Presentment(we are told we are winning, now)

B) Payments

Let's go back to the way a bill can get paid upon delivery.

Method #1 From the Billers Site(Checkfree don't own this)
But I think they Sell the Software to a Biller to do this?

Method #2 From a Bank Site(Checkfree is very Strong, the Strongest)
Consolidation of Bills

Method #3 From a PFM software Package(CheckFree has 100%)
Intuit is the only one in (Pilot) Quicken98 and QuickBooks to follow in Summer. And Controls 80% of the PFM Market....where I expect first growth to come from.

So at this point in time....from What I see #1...isn't going to be a favorite for the Consumer(too many damm sites)...but they need the package from CheckFree or CyberCash to handle those customers who want to come in for a detailed billing on the Billers Site. Software Support for the View & Payment.

Method #2....that's CheckFrees now....it's up to them to lose it.

Method #3...their ain't no competition..they own it for now.

To conclude this rambling we own Presentment & Payment, we did a week ago, and I haven't been able to turn up anything different...

BTW Cruise around Quicken.com, it might enlighten you on a future press release IMHO.

Based on your characterization of the Crafty RABS analyst as
ill-fated, do you think he is currently doing a career
re-evaluation (i.e. job search)?
