*AV*--Ouch with ALYD!!! I am smarting on this also. My highest priced shares are at around $21. IF not for averaging down, this would be a disaster. I'll cover your losses if Jeff Mitchell will cover my temporary losses there. As long as we are talking YR2000 trash here, how about:

DATA DIMENSIONS (13-7/8, down 2-1/4 @ 9:45am ET) reported 4Q EPS loss of ($0.23) vs. $0.08 profit last year, on revenues of $14
mln. vs. $7 mln. in 1996. Analysts' mean estimates were $0.13,
according to First Call. Full year EPS , including non-recurring
charges, were $0.00 vs. $0.15 last year. The Company said the
one-time charges included $764,000 in merger-related costs for Los
Angeles-based Pyramid, $619,000 related to the restructuring of
the Company along divisional lines and relocating into new

The only bright note is that SCS (Steelcase) went IPO today. I was promised 1K shares at $28.50 IPO pricing but the broker was out of the office today for the confirmation. SCS opened at $33 and closed at $33.625 for a nice IPO pop. Thanks to John W. in that neck of the woods, I was able to determine that this was going to be a tough one to get a great deal of shares. I only hope that the indication and promise became confirmed reality in his absence.
