The "judge" has engineered a guilty verdict.
I don't yet see anything that the judge did which would qualify as misconduct.

The only thing that the judge could do between now and deliberations is deliberately mislead the jury on the law, but there's too much media coverage for the judge to get away with anything egregious.

How the jury will decide is anyone's guess, but even if they return a guilty verdict, I'm not sure the judge will come back with a harsh punishment. In fact, I'm betting that Trump won't even see a day in jail.

If what I predict comes true, then any successful appeal won't change much, other than Trump's status as a "convicted criminal."
