Abbreviated index update today. It is all about NVDA earnings after the close tomorrow. Today was a day of waiting on all the major indices. SP500, DOW, Russell 2000 and financials all waiting in a tight zone the last 3 days. COMPQ barely confirmed the new high, but the volume is low and the momentum is almost non-existent. The worrying sign is the breakdown of the DOW transports. It has technically generated a short and intermediate sell signal. It will trigger a long term sell signal if it close down tomorrow. Even more significant it the also breaks the strong support level at 64.
