Bill, the reality is that, over Brandon's entire first term to date, prices for everything increased by 20%.

A lot of that was COVID-related, but it was also completely mishandled by the Federal Reserve, who was no doubt being politically influenced by the Brandon administration. (I'll never forget how a Fed official wanted to add a third mandate to their mission, namely to somehow increase DEI using monetary policy.)

Then there was Brandon's hostility to Big Oil, an attitude that continues to be reflected in the very DNA of liberals everywhere. Even though Brandon has toned down his anti-oil agenda, no one really believes that this will continue. Not even the anti-oil zealots on this thread.

All this has spelled a LOT of trouble for Brandon's re-election campaign. It's the reason why markets can be hitting new highs and inflation can be "down" to the 3% range, and most voters will still trust the Boss Baby over Weekend at Bernie's.
