AMAT. Yeah,very big mistake on my part. Looked at it so many times and never got myself to buy even a few shares. And I don't know why. In about 1994, my boss with whom I was friendly, asked me if I knew or had an opinion on the company. She was debating accepting a job offer from them. I had already considered the stock, and I said I believed it to be an excellent company, dominant or strong in its several businesses in the chip sector. Even again at that point I wondered: so why don't I get myself a few shares? Nope.
Cost basis, looking back would've been about $1/sh. Oh well. Regrets,regrets.
