To Thread, Boy am I glad that I am trading in my IRA! Trader Status or Investor Status? It is much more fun if you don't have to worry about all of this! I am sorry for the squabble that has taken place here on the the thread, but I can see that the area is strewn with bodies! I think that all parties have done a good job, and their disagreements have to be sorted out by those taking the advice! In the last analysis, the 'jerk' you have to fear is that IRS agent who has an agenda, and YOU are the target! Happy 'trades' to all! Regards, Ken
