Doren, Gay marriage was supposed to DESTROY marriage! Pot will DESTROY America! Both of these statements turned out to be true, even if the urgency was overblown. The liberalization of marriage is what's leading to the current pronoun-shouting craze. The legalization of drugs has turned out to be an utter fiasco. Marijuana will claim more lives than even tobacco as more research will show. There is a crisis in culture these days, but every time I talk about it on this thread, eyes (understandably) glaze over.
