re: GTN

I do like their entry into Sports Betting linking up w/ a partner to stream local sports on their over the air stations. If they can monetize this new revenue stream, it s/d generate more FCF. So I am staying in w/ my small position specifically for this new event. Other Sports betting stocks have little to no earniings and get a premium price.

Gray Television (GTN) has made a strategic move into the sports betting industry through a partnership with SportsGrid, a multimedia content and technology company focused on sports betting and gaming. Here are the key details: Gray's Emmy Award-winning production company Tupelo Media Group and its Las Vegas station KVVU have teamed up with SportsGrid to produce a nationally syndicated sports betting and entertainment television series called "BEAT THE ODDS".The partnership involves airing five special episodes of "BEAT THE ODDS" focused on major sporting events in 2024, featuring breaking news, expert analysis, odds, predictions, and insights from SportsGrid's roster of sports betting experts. These specials will be syndicated across dozens of Gray's television stations nationwide, leveraging SportsGrid's real-time sports data, analytics, and betting intelligence. The partnership aims to capitalize on the rapidly growing legal sports betting market in the United States, which is projected to reach $23.2 billion in gross win by 2030, with 43% of that growth coming from new states legalizing sports betting. By partnering with SportsGrid and producing premium sports betting content, Gray Television is positioning itself to monetize this emerging revenue stream as more states legalize and adopt sports betting. While specific financial details were not disclosed, the strategic move allows Gray to tap into the lucrative sports betting market and potentially generate new advertising and sponsorship revenue from sportsbooks, gaming companies, and related businesses seeking to reach engaged sports audiences. As the legal sports betting landscape continues to evolve, Gray's partnership with SportsGrid could provide a significant new revenue source and enhance its market position in the rapidly growing sports betting and entertainment sector
