OK, better yet what kind of broker puts his clients heavily into BB stocks?

I talk to brokers and fund managers on occasion and I've tried to learn from them. Although I'm sure there's a totally mixed bag out there I can't see one putting a large portion of a client's funds into a BB stock, especially one that appears to be in a precarious position. I'm not saying the guys I know don't put the odd dollar into stocks like these but never enough that if the company totally craters they can't say "Well we did great on A, B, C and D but we knew E was a high-risk gamble to begin with."

Maybe I'm missing out on something here. I bought some options in Y a while back and they expired worthless while I was advised to sell my options in Z at a point that later turned out to be $4 too early. Guess I should e-mail all this guy's clients.
