Can anybody comment on the roots of the TI buyout rumor?

Is it just logical thinking/speculation or has it come
from a "reliable source"? Whisper information or something
of that nature.

The only reference I've seen is the "T" rumor: "T" visiting
the Oregon Fab once posted on Yahoo.
