we took the red eye out of la to Phil centuries ago. we get to philly and the whole east coast is closed because of weather. Pilot says we have no alternative we will land at Phil. we saw blue lights as we hit the runway, the fog was so thick. we did the circle regan airport for a couple of hours as our landing lights on the place dash indicated we didn't have one locked in. so we were using up flue for and emergency landing. Lastly, i am taking a flight from Phil to ft sill OK in full dress uniform. reporting to ft sill from basic training ft dix. well we are starting loading , and the plane engine goes on fire. dam i think that one may have been my first airplane flight. around 1962....lol
