Intel breakout

I agree. What is going on now is the rotation of money. Intel is perceived as not having participated in the Bull run up. This Bull market is defying gravity. In the next recession chips will join the other commodities and that will have an effect upon Intel. I give the company credit for effectively managing the .25 transition and cutting costs. It is not well positioned for any slowdown in its primary market however. I therefore do not think it can escape the effects of an economic slowdown. Valuation is also a problem for the whole sector.

Thomas: May I say something here please. If we are a serious investors we shouldn't listen to the likes of Gabele or Kurlack or anybody like that really for they only provide a short term perspective of any company particularly Intel. These guys make their money on short term "advice" for traders at best, and for investors their advice is worthless particularly for a company like Intel.

Thomas - Re: "I would rather buy INTC after a real tech-stock washout."

We are just rising out of a tech washout.

Where were you - asleep?

If a 32% drop in price doesn't get you to buy Intel, nothing will.

Go on to something else - Intel's stock seems to have left you behind.
