just plumb value. Buying something that will give you only 10% ( at best on book value). Market caplitization- scares me. "honest wage for honest service" Value is important (confaluted). :-) Short- with the lack of commitment.

Favorite folk- Mr. Cohen, Mr. Faulkner, Mr. Jim Webb, Mr Smokie Robinson.

I don't think that LU will partner with CSCO. They are pretty much in bed with BAY and I think that when they are lose of the restriction late this year, they will buy BAY. IMO...

CSCO however is going into parntership with Alcatel. BTW I do own them and Siemens. Expect them to do well for the next few years due to Europe's impending telephony demonopolization.

I spoke with John Morgridge (Chairman at Cisco) at a reception and I asked him directly about any possible partnerships with Nortel or Lucent. He said it's more likely that a partnership with Nortel would occur than Lucent. But one with Lucent makes more sense to me. I hope you are right.
