Management missed the number by a long shot and failed to warn.

Management lost CFO several weeks ago and waited until today to announce this fact.

Because the company appears to be out of cash (based upon loss rate) and bank line of credit appears fully advanced, I do not think the company can make it another 60 days with selling. Given the competitive climate of the graphics chip industry, just having a good product won't cut it. I would not buy from this company if they had a product that was only slightly better than the competition because I would wonder if they would still be in business by the time I were to receive my deliveries.

I do have an idea for management. Stop selling all product and close the plant because the company is losing money at the gross margin level.

several things:

JAG,
I saw company like UIS and AKLM survived thru negative bookvalue. The problem of NINE may be more complicate since people may not want to invest more money into a graphic chip company. Especially NINE has never enjoy a good time, its profit is low even in its golden age of I128. I don't believe selling or cease operation is the right move (because we will get less than a buck back!), maybe NINE should consult SYQT on how to raise fund in a extreme situation like this, just kidding... ;o)

See what I had said yesterday.
One note for the press release is that the SGRAM version of Rev3D is mentioned but the price is not attractive at all.
