Wharfie, No one is above the law; do the crime, do the time. Speaking of doing the time, mark my words. If Trump ends up having to serve time in prison, I predict it will be for 34 days (before or after time off for "good behavior"). And I believe there will be a good chance Trump will be sentenced to prison. Why? Because I believe this is the most "fair and balanced solution." The TDS will celebrate the prison sentence, even though they'll crow about it not being enough.
