Rarebird, But I wouldn't put it past Biden after he loses in November, to cut off most fiscal spending to make sure Trump inherits a recession at the beginning of his term. He might, but I think if Trump wins, Brandon will do whatever it takes to prevent Trump from becoming "dictator for a day," as Trump promised his supporters. That will include every lame-duck attempt to throw up one roadblock after another after another to frustrate Trump in his first day (back) in office. He'll do that, of course, because (a) he hates Trump's guts (but which Democrat doesn't?), and (b) he fully believes he need to do whatever he can to preserve democracy and save it from the Mango Mussolini.
