Yesterday, I decided to sell all of my SYNT, my only Y2K stock. I made that decision after reading that the CEO of IMRS has said that the company will exit from the Y2K business. As I have already suspected that the Y2K problems were overblown, I guess that IMRS is exiting from this business also because it's not profitable. Remediation cost for IT has dropped from $1.00 per LOC to only $0.30 today. That tells me there is no rush to get the remediation done or there is an over supply of Y2K companies.

Companies such as CBSL and MAST who are not pure Y2K players, are seeing their stocks soaring. I think IMRS realizes now that by concentrating in Y2K business, they're wasting their time and resources from getting more profitable and long term outsourcing business in client server, ERP, etc. The Y2K companies are now transitioning from the Y2K to non Y2K business.

Does that mean that this TADA company is too late in the game?
