Malignant narcissists cannot admit wrongdoing or change their self-centered behavior. He's terrified of prison, but he is not repentant. Instead, his self-aggrandizement has convinced him that the MAGAts will rise up in force with their gunz and overthrow the government to save him and prop him up as their version of Putin or Kim. But they won't do that for him. Too many of them know what's happened to the 1/6ers and what is still happening to them. Even those who might actually be planning something won't get far. There are not at all enough of them, and although the Trump administration ignored or encouraged militia groups, the Biden administration is monitoring them. There might be a few wackos who do something stupid, but Trump couldn't even get a crowd of protesters outside the courthouse after weeks of trying. windjammerhumblehistorian
