23 more days.... more or less....

I've been following their drought problems for a number of years now.

No wiggle room left now tragically.

I wonder what rabbit they are going to pull out of the hat??

Last year a city in Arizona ran out of water: community without water: What to know about Rio Verde

Rio Verde home owners are not poor.

My cousin wants to retire there, he's a 34 guy.

I mentioned to his wife "That's crazy!" she agreed. He's a good guy, and thought I'd be on his side because I'm a Libertarian... but he's politically ignorant. Because of him and 34, my family no longer celebrates holidays together.

In July 2023, Phoenix, Arizona set a record for the longest stretch of consecutive days with temperatures of 110°F (43.4°C) or higher at 31 days. This broke the previous record of 18 days set in 1974. The heat wave began in June and stretched across Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and into California's desert.

Much as I use very little, waste less... I think human nature is to resist change until its a real crisis... like REALLY BAD.

Guys like Eric et al are, alas, the solution but not the majority.

I will not go to 34 country myself. Phoenix is butt ugly even without climate change but not as ugly as Vegas.
