Eric, How many miles do you drive a day? So your answer is "Drive less, LOL"? That's a cop-out, not a real answer. To answer your question, though, half the time I drive my Toyota Pious Prime beyond its 26 mile battery range limit. The battery itself is 6.6 kWh in capacity, but my Pious is also a smaller car than the Tesla 3. I could fully charge its battery using a DIY solar setup, but that's irrelevant because even the Pious will be illegal to sell in California come 2035. Tenchusatsu
