John: thanks. I just noticed something interesting --schwab's international index fund lists only Canadian stocks as their top holdings, and in very high percentages. Hold your hat, I think you're going up.... ..ticker is SWINX. Canadian stocks look relatively cheap.
Aftermarket for computers is huge...I've watched in local computer stores and people spend twice as much on magazines, add-ons, software and things they don't need as their $1000 computer. I think the retailers will do OK as long as the volume increases.
