because of those rules there was almost no flu and I read on Yahoo they think that may have saved 800,000 lives. I never liked people breathing down my neck anyway

Doren,
Wail! They advised us to stay 6 ft away! MY FREEDOM! MY FREEDOM!
Remember how we talked about California's upcoming plastic bag ban at grocery stores, and how you thought my annoyance with it was uncalled for?

Context is everything.

With regard to social distancing, hospitals were overflowing with COVID patients. Morgues were overflowing. Bodies were piling up in NYC. Most of my friends who were on the front lines of this pandemic had to work day and night wearing gear that gets incredibly exhausting.

Based on that, I can tolerate six feet (or two meters in "globalist units") of social distancing. It's annoying, but something I'm willing to accept because of everything that was going on.

With regard to plastic bags, though, I don't see the benefit of banning them at grocery stores. Most of them do end up in landfills, and they don't take up that much space. Yes, some end up as litter, but so do a LOT of other plastic trash like soda bottles, shrink wrap, packing supplies, etc.

And yeah, summers have been getting hotter and hotter, but I also don't see how a plastic bag ban is going to make summers cooler or wildfire season less oppressive.

So yeah, I'm going to be annoyed at the busybodies who impose plastic bag bans on me and tell me it's for my own good.

Even then, I'm not going to support politicians yelling at people, calling them "mass murderers," and inciting others to go kill them.

Disagreement is American. What the Q Continuum wants to do to Dr. Fauci and everyone else who believed in social distancing is anything BUT American.
