Article on TER suggests that automated test trough is over after 10 tough quarters.

Thats also good news for Cohu, but qualify that with knowing Cohu does not have testhandlers for memory.

I'm happy to see you like AMKR too. I mentioned it here a while back. If you haven't read the transcript for the last qtr yet, I strongly recommend that you do. It seems to be expanding everywhere.

Take a look at its

List of Customers (You might have to refresh the link.)

You'll notice at least one chip-maker missing from the list -- NVDA. In June 2023, there was one news item that mentioned the two. AMKR went up but nothing more came out.

AMKR is my favorite trading stock. I trade it every day but replenish what I sell quickly. I don't want to miss a buyout.

I am on a trading break. I will be back at the end of the month. I am only back for the to see how the Fed guidance would play out.

Thanks for the heads up on AMKR.

Are you seeing COHU as more of a late semiconductor cycle stock now as testing comes only once the new fabs are close to completion?

Some macro issues to consider that are not semi related:

It looks like advance packaging could be heating up due to the emergence of photonic chips.

It is still early days for this technology but it is something to keep an eye on:

It looks like your entry on AMKR was at a local low and you are up about 10 percent already.

Have a great July 4!

I am just coming back from my trading break and catching up on the state of the market.

The major indices are at new highs but the DOW and DOW transports are still lagging showing some cracks in the story or higher highs for the market. As we head into the election season proper it will get a little volatile starting in August.
