I would tend to side with Madharry on this one.

Know quite a few folks, who very much enjoy the $50k plus per year their million(s) generate, vs. the $3k to $7k from a few years ago.

Yes, they were already rich, and either way it wouldn't have impacted their income/wealth to any great degree.

My observation, however, is that they are NOT saving this extra income and have become quite blithesome when it comes to dining out, travel, impulse purchases, etc.
