that is just it...becasue of the buying power of cpq and their japanese unit and singapore mfg'ing..cpq's are cheap in japan.
and dell has lower inventory which protects them and buys almost as cheap and has the mylasia plant..dell's jit project helps them allot.
It's a progeam that amost ships a pc and then allows a vendor to invoice. it rough on vendors if they aren't jit also.
their mfg'ing and materials footprint is designed to sell to the world in these conditions and be great.
Since no one of the thread has ever mapped this out with systems at a Sr. level..I can assure you "I'M NOT INCORRECT".
It was obvious in decmeber and I posted as such in october before micky Dell ever said a word about it<ggg>
