That always did seem like a goofy decision, I didn't realize it was due to a Steve Jobs decree.

I think it was only in one of the recent versions of iOS that the Stocks app was allowed on the iPad as well.

"it looked" bad mindset has always been another Apple Achilles heel.

I've never understood that mindset, particularly as Apple usability has always been superior... but they still made many boneheaded usability mistakes for the sake of "looking good." Really boneheaded.

I've never understood why goog & softie don't put more emphasis on usability. When I talked to my clients about poor usability they ALL understood and agreed no matter the platform.

Its always reminded me of how Detroit didn't see it coming until it was too late, in fact Detroit still doesn't get it on reliability & now usability. I am surprised that it took so long for real competition to develop... OS complexity...

I'll probably buy another Mac after I sell my house but I'm down spending from pro machines to an iMac.

iPhones & other Apple devices no longer interest me.
