I guess the following means that, on a net basis, 128,800
more ASND shares were purchased today from MMs than were
sold to MMs. Is my logic correct?

I guess the following means that, on a net basis, the value
of ASND shares bought from MMs exceeded the value of shares
sold to MMs by $4.4MM. Is my logic correct?

Pause and think one second, it is clear that nobody in their right state of mind who controls 5% of a company would reveal their future actions to their friends. They wouldn't tell even their spouse. THEY WOULD REVEAL AFTER THE FACT SO THEY CAN DRIVE THE PRICE FURTHER DOWN AND GET BACK IN AGAIN. EX. JEFF VINIK ref. MU/ EVEN WARREN BUFFETT WHO REVEALS AFTER HE BOUGHT A LOT OF SILVER. This guy is probably a friend of a another guy with big short position, who is shitting in his pants since the stock can break to upside any time. Last ditch to scare the longs. Never believe when somebody says they know something unless you have first hand information.

Regards,
BR

The WSJ reported that the $15 Billion Tiger Fund was the largest shorter of ASND. The latest shorts report was over 13 million shares short. Maybe it is a short coverage.

The Tiger article was in December, as I recall. I can search Yahoo for my original post on them, if it matters.
