To Thread...FYI the CKFR thread is listed under the Hot Sites from the top of the SI site. That's how I found it and I suspect that it's the same for others. I have been a CheckFree user for 7.5 years ('286 machine running DOS and Checkfree's software) and love it. Today I use it through Quicken. It is the ONLY way to handle the household finances. My question is this. Can somebody help me understand how all of the banks that are beginning to offer the on-line bill paying features effect Checkfree. Is it competition or are they contracting this service to companies such as Checkfree to execute the payments? Any clear explanation would be greatly appreciated.
