Speaking of being fed, last week I watched a LARGE cat just miss a fleeting cotton tail in the green belt behind my house. As the cat turned away my first thought was how big it was. Then the full side view revealed this was a bob cat. Not terribly unusual in the area. It slowly scanned the area, took a slouched, creeping position and quickly emerged from behind a large cactus with a different bunny in its mouth.

I found a baby Pigeon when I was in Junior Highschool. No feathers, took it home, asked a neighbour that had carrier pigeons on how to feed it. Used milk and bread (they drink like a horse, not like other birds), then as he was older seeds that the neighbour gave me.

Had him for around 4 years and then he was gone one day. I called him Squirmy as he didn't like to be held.

He liked to land on your head. Crazy thing.
