I think he said phones don't have the processing power to do AI yet. That's the problem, they have to be tied to a server. I suppose I should listen again. If they are using virtual servers for each client's data, its and interesting way to go about it, although I don't know how they'd prevent the AI server from downloading data to their huge databanks. I've always thought that since AI is all about huge data banks Apple would have a hard time competing with the databank companies like goog and meta.
