15" is the yearly precip for a lot of areas here. 3-4" is a huge dump. Can't fathom a storm like that!
We are back to normal moisture-wise. Normal is a bit of a state of mind on the prairies, things are always extreme. The drought teeth gnashing is fading, onto the next crisis.

Yes, hockey tomorrow night. Hopefully the air controllers at YEG will divert the Panthers flight to YYC for a couple of hours....just to get into the spirit of things.

Good with it because they arrived but not until after air traffic controllers in Edmonton had a little fun with the situation. According to audio posted on social media, they joked to the pilots that they would be holding up landing long enough to run out of fuel and divert to another airport.
